Watford are based in Hertfordshire, England and were formed in 1881. They play their home games at Vicarage Road which has capacity of 22,000. They are currently managed by Aidy Boothroyd. Watford are nicknamed the Hornets and play in a Yellow and Red strip.

Watford had their best spells with Graham Taylor in charge. In two separate spells he took Watford into the top flight. In 2005 Aidy Boothroyd took control of the club and in his first season Watford unexpectedly earnt a playoff place and then beat Leeds 3 - 0 in the final.
