Swindon Town currently play their football in League Two and are nicknamed the Robins. They are managed by Maurice Malpas. They play their home games at the County Ground which has a capacity of 15,728. They won the League Cup in 1969 whilst in the Third Division.

Undoubtedly winning the League Cup was the biggest day in Swindon's history beating Arsenal 3 - 1 to cause a massive shock. They played in the Premiership in 1993 - 94 but slipped into the bottom division. Their last relegation came in 2006 when they finished 23rd in League One.
