Nottingham Forest currently play their football in League One and are nicknamed Forest. They are managed by Colin Calderwood. They play their home games at the City Ground which has a capacity of 30,602. They have twice won the European Cup in 1979 and 1980.

Nottingham Forest became the first winners of the European Cup to play outside the top two divisions in their country. They were relegated from the Championship in 2005 and had a disappointing first season in League One. In 2008 they won promotion back to teh second tier of English football.
