Millwall currently play their football in League One and are nicknamed the Lions. They are currently managed by Kenny Jackett . They play their home games at the New Den which has a capacity of 20,146. They have a bad reputation as having the worst behaved supporters.

Millwall were consistent play off contenders in the Championship in recent years and even finished 4th in 2002. They also reached the FA Cup Final in 2004. However the following year a new chairman took over and Dennis Wise left his role as manager. The next season Millwall were relegated to League 1.
