Leyton Orient currently play their football in League One and are nicknamed the O's. They are managed by Martin Ling and their chairman is Barry Hearn. They play their home games at the Matchroom Stadium which has a capacity of 7,872. The ground is currently undergoing reconstruction.

Leyton Orient have spent just one season in the top flight which was in 1962/63. In recent seasons they have been playing in the bottom division (League Two). Until recently they had struggled near the foot of the table. However in 2005/06 they achieved promotion to League One.
