Ipswich Town Football Club were formed in 1878 and are based in Suffolk. They are nicknamed the Tractor Boys and have a strong rivalry with Norwich City. They play their home games at Portman Road which has a capacity of over 30,000. They are currently managed by Jim Magilton.

Ipswich were in the Premiership most recently between 2000 - 2002. In their first season they finished 5th in the league under manager George Burley. This earnt them a place in the UEFA Cup where they lost to Italian giants Inter Milan. The next season was disappointing as they were relegated.
