Derby County Football Club were formed in 1884 and are nicknamed the Rams. They play their home games at Pride Park which has a capacity of over 33,000. Derby play in White shirts, Black shorts and White socks. They are managed by Paul Jewell and currently play in the Championship.

Derby County were a successful top flight club in the 1970s. They twice won the title in 1972 and 1975. Their last trophy came in 1987 when they won the Championship. Derby spent some time in the Premiership but were relegated in 2001/2002. They twice came close to relegation to League One.
