Coventry City Football Club were formed in 1883 and are nicknamed the Sky Blues due to playing in an all sky blue home kit. Coventry currently play in the Championship and are managed by Chris Coleman. They play their home games at the Ricoh Arena with a capacity of 32,500.
Coventry were in the top division between 1967 - 2001 and had leading players like Robbie Keane and Craig Bellamy. In this period they finished no higher than 6th. Their greatest moment came in 1987 when they beat Tottenham to win the FA Cup. |
