Bristol Rovers currently play their football in League One and are nicknamed the Pirates. They are managed by Paul Trollope who is officially first team coach. They were formed in 1883 and play their home games at the
Memorial Stadium which has a capacity of 11,916.
Paul Trollope is currently helped by Director of Football Lennie Lawrence. The pair are aiming to turn around Bristol Rovers fortunes as they have spent many of the past seasons battling against relegation to the Conference. The clubs best seasons were in the early 90's under Gerry Francis. |
