Brighton & Hove Albion currently play their football in League One and are nicknamed the Seagulls. They are managed by Micky Adams. They play their home games at the Withdean Stadium which has a capacity of 8,850. They have been planning a new stadium for years and hope to move in 2009.

Brighton & Hove Albion's best season came in 1983 when they reached the FA Cup Final and played in the top division. They soon slid down the leagues due to money worries and narrowly avoided relegation to the Conference in 1997.

However in 2001 and 2002 they won back to back titles to earn there place in the Championship. Two relegation's and a promotion later they find themselves back in League One. Despite finishing 7th in the 2007/08 table manager Dean Wilkins was sacked and Micky Adams took over as manager.
