TEAM INFO

Bolton Wanderers were formed in 1874 and were the first team to win the FA Cup at Wembley. They moved to the Reebok Stadium in 1997. They currently play in the Premiership and are nicknamed the Wanderers. They are currently managed by Gary Megson who took control in 2007.

Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup three times in seven years in the 1920's. They have had little success in the way of trophies since then. However in recent years under previous manager Sam Allardyce Bolton became one of the Premiership toughest teams to beat and had several good cup runs.

2007/08 RESULTS
League Pos 16th - Premiership
FA Cup 3rd Round

Bolton produced a remarkable escape act in 2007/08. They were 4 points away from safety with just five games to go. However 3 wins and 2 draws helped Gary Megson's team avoid relegation by a single point.
