Mexico are one of the most consistent teams in the World and have amazingly never been outside the top twenty in the FIFA World Rankings. They have qualified for the last four World Cups and have reached the second round on all four occasions.
Mexico have got a very good record in the Gold Cup and Copa America. They have won the Gold Cup four times in 1993, 1996, 1998 and 2003. They have finished as runners up in the Copa America twice in 1993 and 2001 and have finished third twice in 1997 and 1999. |
