Mark Walsh was born on February 2nd, 1965 in Watford, England. He is nicknamed Walshie and made his TV Debut in 2002. This came at the World Matchplay in Blackpool. His best performance came in 2006 when he got to the final of the UK Open.

Unfortunately he was beaten by Phil Taylor quite convincingly. His performance at Bolton that week saw him rise into the top 16 of the world rankings. Since then he has been unable to reproduce that form and has been disappointing several times on TV since.
