Dennis Smith was born on August 2nd, 1969 in Reading England. He is nicknamed 'Smiffy' and made his TV debut in 1999. He has been a regular on the PDC circuit with a number of open wins but no major triumph. He has recently slipped down the rankings quite dramatically.

His best performance came in the 2000 World Championship when he reached the Semi-Finals. He achieved the feat in the 2005 Grand Prix. His form has really slumped and has lost three consecutive first round matches in live television events.
