Andy Smith was born on June 22nd, 1967 in Bromsgrove, England. He is nicknamed the Pie Man and made his TV debut in 2004. He has been a consistent performer on the PDC circuit over the past few years and is a former England International.

He reached the third round of the 2006 World Championship beating Colin Monk and Ray Carver before losing out to the experienced Alan Warriner Little. Since then he has been disappointing in the major television events losing in several first round matches.
