Thomas Seyler was born on July 16th, 1974 in Germany. He has the nickname Shorty and made his TV debut in 2006. He reached the 2nd Round of the World Masters in 2003 and the Quarter Finals of the World Darts Trophy the following year.

Seyler won the 2005 German Gold Cup and made his PDC debut at the World Championship in 2006. He beat Jamie Harvey in the first round before losing to Roland Scholten. He returned to the tournament in 2007 but was beaten by number one Colin Lloyd.
