Josephus Schenk was born on August 19th, 1980 in Zutphen, Holland. He made his TV debut in the 2005 PDC World Championship and made a big impact. He had wins over Darin Young and Alan Caves before causing a huge upset in round three beating Peter Manley.

His run came to an end in the last 16 when he was beaten by Andy Hamilton. Schenk again qualified for the World Championship in 2007 but was beaten in round one by Dennis Priestley.
