Gary Robson was born on June 19th 1967 in Cramlington, England. He has the nickname Big Robbo and made his TV debut in 2002. His biggest performance came in 2005 when he won the World Darts Trophy beating Mervyn King 6 - 4 in the final.

In 2007 he reached the Quarter Finals of the BDO World Championship and the International Darts League including wins over Peter Manley and Martin Adams. In the 2008 Robson was only able to reach the second round at Lakeside losing 0 - 4 to Darryl Fitton.
