Mario Robbe was born in Holland and made his TV debut in 2007. He was beaten in the first Round of the BDO World Championship by Ted Hankey. He suffered the same fate in 2008 this time losing out to fellow countryman Ramco Van Eijden.

In 2007 Robbe won 4 matches in the World Masters before losing to Simon Whitlock in the last 24. A year earlier he also made it to the 4th Round. His best run came in the World Cup where he made it all the way to the last four before losing to Mark Webster 1 - 4.
