Davy Richardson was born in England and made his TV debut in 1993. He has played at Lakeside in BDO World Championship on six occasions but has only once got past the first round.

His only win came in 2007 against Vincent Van Der Voort. He then lost 3 - 4 to Ted Hankey in the second round. Richardson did reach the Quarter Finals of the World Masters in 2004, his best result in a major tournament.
