Mick McGowan is the number one ranked darts player from Ireland. He is a very promising player and made his TV debut in 2006. He was born in Duleek, Ireland. He made his TV debut in the UK Open where he reached the third round before losing to Mark Walsh.
He then qualified for the Las Vegas Desert Classic and beat Ray Carver in the first round before losing to Wes Newton in round two. He played some excellent darts in the 2007 World Championship losing 4 - 1 to Phil Taylor in the second round with an average of 102. |
