Peter Manley was born on March 7th, 1962 in Cheam, England. He has the nickname 'one dart' due to him frequently hitting the double with his first dart. Manley has only one major TV tournament victory to his name. This came in 2003 when he was successful at the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

Manley has been badly treated by fans and was regularly booed when he came onto stage. It all started when he lost 7 - 0 to Phil Taylor in the 2002 World Championship and he walked off without shaking hands. This was one of two whitewashes he has suffered in the World Championship Final.
