BIO

Colin Lloyd was born on August 7th, 1973 in Colchester, England. He is nicknamed Jaws and made his TV Debut in 2000. He has won two major titles and his best finish in the World Championship was when he reached the Semi-Finals in 2002.

Lloyd spent long periods as World number One. His first major tournament victory came in 2004 when he won the World Grand Prix. He then won the 2005 World Matchplay finishing with a 170 check out. In 2006 he surprisingly lost in the 1st round of the World Championship and World Matchplay.

Lloyd had a tough second round draw in the 2007 World Championship. He faced Raymond van Barneveld but quickly raced into a 3 - 0 lead in sets. Lloyd actually had four darts at a double to win the match but ended up losing 3 - 4. Barneveld went on to win the World Championship.
