Dave Honey was born on November 30th, 1966 in the Isle of Wight, England. He made his TV debut in 2005 at the UK Open. He then went onto qualify for his first ever appearance in the World Championship in 2006. He lost in the first round to Adrian Lewis.

He played in the 2006 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton. Unfortunately he came unstuck in the second round of the tournament when he was beaten convincingly 8 - 1 by Simon Whatley. Dave Honey needs to perform better in the major televised events if he is to improve his rankings.
