Robbie Green was born on July 19th, 1974 in Liverpool, England. He has the nickname Kong and made his TV debut in 2004. That year he reached the 4th Round of the UK Open and qualified for the World Matchplay losing to Bob Anderson in first round.

The in 2006 he made a name for himself reaching the Quarter Finals of the UK Open with some excellent wins over Jamie Harvey, Chris Mason, Mark Walsh and Terry Jenkins. His wins were soon over shadowed when ha failed a drugs test. In 2008 Green switched from the PDC to the BDO.
