Shaun Greatbatch was born on July 11th, 1969 in Suffolk, England. He has the nickname 9 Dart after he produced a perfect 9 dart finish in the final of the Dutch Open in 2002. He made his TV debut in 2001 but lost in the first round of the BDO World Championship on his first four appearances.
In 2006 he broke the bad run and made it all the way to the semi finals before losing to the eventual champion Jelle Klaasen. This is the best run at Lakeside in his career and in 2008 he again lost in the opening round losing to Martin Phillips. |
