Gerry Convery was born on September 27th, 1955. He is the number two player from Canada behind John Part and has featured in the last last four PDC World Championships. He made it to the second round of the tournament in both 2005 and 2006.

In 2007 he had little success in the major tournaments losing to Steve Beaton in the first round of the World Championship and was then thrashed 1 - 6 by Mervyn King in the Las Vegas Classic. In 2008 Convery was again eliminated in the 1st Round of the World Championship by Barrie Bates.
