Matt Clark was born on April 4th, 1968 in Dartford, England. He is nicknamed 'Superman' and made his TV debut in 1996. He played in the Embassy World Championship on eight occasions before deciding to join the PDC where he has progressed into the top 32.

His ranking earnt him automatically qualification into the World Championship and World Matchplay. He was unable to take advantage of this losing in the second round and first round respectively. Clark has been a solid performer throughout his career.
