Richie Burnett was born on February 7th, 1967 in Cwmparc, Wales. He made his TV debut in 1995 and his nickname is the 'Prince of Wales'.His biggest moment in darts came when he won the 1995 Embassy World Championship defeating Raymond Van Barneveld in the final 6 - 3.

He then joined the PDC and his best performance came in the 2001 World Matchplay. He went all the way to the final before being beaten by Phil Taylor. Burnett has not really showed his full potential since then and as a result he has slipped down the PDC rankings.
