Ritchie Buckle was born in England and made his TV debut at the 2002 World Grand Prix. He caused a huge upset in the first round beating defending champion Alan Warriner Little 2 - 1.

Buckle was then beaten by Andy Jenkins in the second round. He also qualified for the 2004 PDC World Championship and reached the 3rd Round losing narrowly to Dennis Priestley 3 - 4 .
