Ronnie Baxter was born on May 2nd, 1961 in Blackpool, England. He is renowned for his fast throw and robotic action. Baxter made his TV debut in 1991 at the BDO World Championship. He is nicknamed the rocket and is yet to win a major televised event.

In his first season in the PDC he reached the final of the Las Vegas Desert Classic but again had to settle for the runners up spot. His best finish in the PDC World Championship is the Quarter Finals. In the 2006 and 2007 tournaments Baxter was eliminated in the first round.
