Jenkins Primed for World Success

Having followed the darts closely to this point I think Terry Jenkins is going to win the World Championship.

I realise this is a bold statement to make especially with Adrian Lewis awaiting in the Quarter Finals. But from what I have seen Terry Jenkins is playing some of the best darts of anyone.

Jenkins is an experienced campaigner and has reached 7 major finals during his career. But for Phil Taylor he would already have 3 or 4 titles to his name.

His performance last night against Justin Pipe was world class averaging 102.64, the second highest average of the tournament so far.

He killed the match off superbly by taking out 76 with two darts by hitting double 18 and double 20.

I feel the big names players left in the field are not playing to their best. Lewis and Anderson are both lucky to be in the tournament afternarrow scrapes in the first round.

Wade has been playing poorly for some time and Dave Chisnall does not have the experience of playing in a major final.

Odds of 16/1 on Terry Jenkins at this stage of the tournament look absolutely huge. Don't be put off by the fact he is playing Lewis next as Jenkins has beaten the World Champion 10 times in his career and is playing the better darts right now.
