My main hope for the weekend were Wigan but they got beaten by a single
player in the second half of their match, leading 20 points to nil at half time
Wigan looked to be coasting it. Not only were they in the lead but they spurned
another 18 points.

So during the half time I was confident that it was the start of a good weekend, and expected Wigan to push on but
how wrong I was. ORFORD IS HIS NAME MATT ORFORD, during half time I was watching the coaches in the
dressing room on Sky, but I thought Steve McNamara was Bradford coach.

I was watching a tiny Aussie scrum half wagging his finger and directing the players or was he just telling all of them
the same thing   "just give me the bloody ball will ya" because if he did it worked. The genius turned this game
around, his kicking and passing, his mere direction turned the game on its head.

But Wigan still had chances in the second half to win the game or at the very least pull further clear but they just
couldn't hold them. What a spectacle for the working mans game, a battle of will and attrition and the winner was the
fans not just of Bradford but for the fans of rugby in general.

I thought Wigan would have had the class to win this game, in contradiction to another tipsters post. Wigan might
not have beaten much this season or beaten them convincingly but I look at how many points they should have
scored. Every team misses chances it's what makes the game of rugby league so great.

1 tackle in the match witnessed a short full back knock a 6 ft + rampaging winger out from the field of play with the try
line begging. Full contact, bone crunching tackles, just why we love this sport, battles of David VS Goliath.  I could
just imagine Arsene Wenger going to watch a game of rugby league, he would cry at the punishment that our teams
stars have to put up with.

Broken bones are a part of  our sport it happens, but they still come back for more. This year we have already
witnessed broken legs, noses and arms and were only in the first month, but as soon as they can, these guys will be
back for more.

This season looks like its going to be another classic for the followers of the game. Saints are not firing on all
cylinders. Leeds don't seem to have the depth of previous years, Wolves ....well they jury is still out on that one, and
then Wigan, they personally are my tip to win the main thing this year and being a Rhinos fan that's a little hard to
say. Could it be the year of the underdog? If so which one, Huddersfield, Hull FC. Who knows?
