21 OF THE WORLD'S TOP 30 ARE MISSING THIS WEEK YET TIGER WOODS IS THE SAME PRICE AS HIS US OPEN ODDS |
|
| |
| The key factor is the price on offer. Woods is currently a fraction better than 2/1 at Betfair. This is the same price as he was to win the US Open two of |
| weeks ago. When you consider the players he is up against this week in comparison to the US Open surely the bookmakers are being too generous. 21 |
| the worlds top 30 players are missing this week and this will play firmly into Tiger's hands. Better evidence that the 2/1 is a good price is Woods record |
| in standard PGA Tour events (not majors or WGC events) . In the past four years he has won 12 times in 22 starts, so 2/1 is a value bet. |

JOHN SENDEN FINISHED T4 IN HIS LAST EVENT SHOOTING A FINAL ROUND OF 66 |
|
| |
| Our second pick is John Senden who is having a solid year on the PGA Tour. He is currently 33rd on the Fed Ex Standings helped largely by a T4 |
| finish in his last event at the St.Jude Classic. He finished that tournament with a final round of 66 and will of been itching to play another tournament |
| ever since. That finish was no surprise as Senden had finished T18 in the Crowne Plaza Invitational and 7th in the HP Byron Nelson Championship. |
| Senden seems to play his best golf on tough courses and he finished T18 here last year with three rounds in the 60s. Good each way value at 66/1. |
