It should be no surprise to see Co Stompe doing well in the World Championship. He has a bag full of experience |
having appeared at Lakeside on numerous occasions including a Semi Final appearance in 2000. |
| |
Stompe has an impressive record at Alexandra Palace. At last years World Championship he beat Andy Jenkins, |
Alan Tabern and Wayne Mardle en route to the Quarter Finals. Add to that his two victories this year and Co Stompe |
has won five of his six matches on the Alexandra Palace stage. |

In Wednesday's third round Stompe takes on Mark Dudbridge. The Flash as he known came through a final set |
decider in the last round against Alan Tabern. All in all it has been a disappointing season for Dudbridge. He has |
reached only one Quarter Final in the last 6 months on the PDC circuit and has slipped to 21st in the rankings. |
| |
His record against Co Stompe is poor. The two have met on four occasions with Stompe getting the better of the |
Flash in three of these meetings. In fact the only win for Dudbridge came way back in 2007 in the International Darts |
League. When they met earlier this year Stompe ran out a 6 - 3 winner. |
| |
If Co Stompe can produce anywhere near the form that saw him beat King in the last round then he should get the |
better of Dudbridge. The best price of 4/6 at William Hill is nothing to get carried away about, but worth a small bet. |
