BARNES ON A ROLL
RICKY BARNES IS PLAYING THE BEST GOLF OF HIS CAREER
Wednesday 30th June 2010
This week the PGA Tour heads to Pennsylvania for the AT & T National. The
event is hosted by Tiger Woods and he is the favourite at a best price of 4.5
at Bet365. The event is being played at Aronimink Golf Club, a Par 70 Donald
Ross designed golf course.

Reports suggest that accuracy is key on this course and distance is no advantage. With that in mind I have opted
for two consistent performers who have been playing superb golf of late. First up is Ricky Barnes who finished T5
last week at the Travelers Championship. He also finished T3 at the Memorial and T7 at the Crowne Plaza.

Barnes had another 3 top ten finishes early in the season including a T10 finish at the US Masters. With accurate
iron play a key feature Barnes distance stats make interesting reading. He ranks in 6th place for GIR from under 25
yards, 24th for GIR from 125 - 150 yards and 20th from 150 - 175 yards.

With these stats in mind and his excellent recent form Barnes looks an obvious choice to perform well in this event
with Bet365 offering a best price of 40/1.

Ben Crane is my next pick. He simply does not have a weakness and with injury problems behind him he is also
having a career season. Prior to his missed cut at Pebble Beach Crane finished T12 - T3 - T7 - T4. Earlier in the year
he won the Farmers Insurance Open and knows how to get the job done.

He is number one on the All Round Ranking which combines all attributes of players games. Currently 5th in the Fed
Ex Race, Crane has a great chance of making his Ryder Cup debut and will be keen to continue his good form this
week. Ben Crane looks a good each way bet at odds of 33/1 at William Hill.

BK Tip: AT & T National - Ricky Barnes each way - 40/1 @ Bet365
BK Tip: AT & T National - Ben Crane each way - 33/1 @ William Hill

MORE UPSETS AT WIMBLEDON
BERDYCH AND SODERLING CAN CAUSE UPSETS
Wednesday 30th June 2010
It is men's quarter finals day at Wimbledon and it could prove just as
unpredictable the last eight of the women's event. Yesterday there were a
couple of huge shocks and with the top four seeds in the men's game in action
today there could be a couple more surprises on the cards.

Murray and Djokovic should win their games with out any problems but it is Federer and Nadal that could find
themselves pushed to the limit. Federer takes on an improving Berdych who must be full of confidence after reaching
the semi finals of the French Open.

He is much improved player and now appears to be mentally strong which was always his downfall. In reaching this
round he has proved calm and calculated on big points especially in his five set win over Denis Istomin a player
that nearly beat Nadal at Queens.

Federer is not the player he was a few years ago. He has won just 1 title in 2010 albeit the Australian Open. But the
arrival of his twins appear to have affected his performances. The last time these two met in Miami earlier this year
Berdych ran out the winner and at 4/1 at Totesport he looks good value to spring a major surprise.

Also worth backing is Robin Soderling who has looked on superb form over the past few weeks. Today he takes
on Rafael Nadal and the Swede will be looking for revenge for the recent defeat in the French Open final. Nadal has
looked below his best on grass of late and was pushed to five sets by Petzschner and Haase.

Soderling has a similar game to these two players but is simply a lot better. His huge serve and powerful flat ground
strokes are likely to cause Nadal problems as he struggles when the ball bounces low. With rumours about injuries to
his knee and elbow Nadal may not be 100% fit and Soderling can capitalize. Take the 2.5 on offer at Sporting Bet.

BK Tip: T.Berdych to beat R.Federer - 5 @ Totesport
BK Tip: R.Soderling to beat R.Nadal - 2.5 @ Sporting Bet

WIMBLEDON TIPS: CLEAN SWEEP
TENNIS PUNTER IS ON FOR A CLEAN SWEEP OF WINNERS
Tuesday 29th June 2010
Tennis Punter is a site we have promoted several times in the past for their
excellent strike rate in picking winning tennis tips. Well their record just gets
better and better. If you have been losing money on Wimbledon then you are
a mug! Tennis Punter has provided 10 tips on Wimbledon, all 10 have won.

The key is backing players at relatively short odds who they cannot see losing. Now before you say "I don't like
betting at such short odds" ask yourself this question "Do you like making money?". If the answer is yes then you
need to start backing the tips from Tennis Punter

Only yesterday they picked out Andy Murray and Jo Wilfried Tsonga to win their fourth round matches which they
did with ease. Not all tips are really short odds. For example they backed Thiemo De Bakker to beat John Isner after
the American came through his epic first round match. De Bakker was on offer at 1.61 and only lost 5 games.

In total Tennis Punter has now offered 78 tips. 68 of these have been winners and just 10 of them have lost. If you
had bet £100 on each of these tips you would now have £1318.45 in your bank. That is a 16.9% return on your
investment.

What is even better is they are currently offering a one month free trial. This allows you to see just how good the
tips are. To join the trial simply send an email to tennis@bettingkingdom.co.uk quoting tennis. Please do this
quickly as there are limited spaces available.

FERRIE GAMBLE IN FRANCE
KENNY FERRIE CAN SPRING A SURPRISE IN FRANCE
Tuesday 29th June 2010
This week is one of my favourite events on the European Tour, the Open de
France. The final five holes provide one of the most exciting finishes with water
playing a huge role in the outcome of the tournament. I have found two players
who are worth backing at generous odds.

First up is Englishman Kenneth Ferrie. This really is a big gamble as up until last week Ferrie had been terrible on the
European Tour. However Ferrie had a huge turn in fortunes shooting 16 under par for the four rounds to finish T3.
After reading the news page on his website it is less of a surprise as Ferrie has been working hard on his game.

If Ferrie can bring his form from last week to France then he could feature towards the top of the leaderboard. He has
some fond memories of the Le Golf National having finished T6 here last year including a final round of 67. So with
his form from last week and his good performance 12 months ago Ferrie looks worth a punt at 150/1 at Totesport.

As well as backing Ferrie, have a gamble on left hander Richard Green. He has always been one of the tours
straightest hitters and most consistent performers. His record at Le Golf National is superb finishing T6 - 4 - MC - T7
- T2 on his last five visits to the Open de France.

Add to this record his recent 2nd place finish in the Open de Portugal and Richard Green is an attractive each way
bet at a best price of 55/1 at Totesport. Green's straight hitting is perfect for this course with water waiting for any
player that strays off line.

BK Tip: Open de France - Kenneth Ferrie each way - 150/1 @ Totesport
BK Tip: Open de France - Richard Green each way - 55/1 @ Totesport

PORTUGAL WILL BE TOUGH TO BEAT
SPAIN WILL HAVE THEIR WORK CUT OUT WITH PORTUGAL
Tuesday 29th June 2010
When you think of Portugal's national team Ronaldo immediately springs to
mind. The 2009 player of the year is clearly their best player but not the main
reason why Portugal have been successful of late. They come into today's
encounter with Spain unbeaten in 19 matches, conceding just 3 goals.

In fact they are the only team in the current World Cup not to have conceded a goal. Whilst they were not that
impressive in their 0 - 0 draws with Ivory Coast and Brazil it is hard to ignore their recent defensive displays.

Spain came into the World Cup as the tournament favourites but were humbled by Switzerland in their opening game.
Wins over Honduras and Chile helped them top the group but your saw last night just how poor Chile are. The real
concern for Spain has been the form of Torres who simply does not look fully fit.

Torres was injured in April and missed the end of the season for Liverpool and this is clearly affecting his game.
Spain will also be missing Xavi Alonso and Raul Albiol both who have picked up injuries. I just get the feeling Spain
may struggle to break down the Portugal defence which has proved so solid of late.

With this in mind the best bet for this game is to back Portugal in the Double Chance market. Over the 90 minutes a
low scoring draw could be a likely outcome which would give you a winning bet. Ladbrokes are offering the best
price of 1.77 but it is proving a popular bet with punters so don't wait too long.

BK Tip: Spain v Portugal: Double Chance - 1.77 @ Ladbrokes

GIANT KILLING JAPAN
JAPAN CAN SQUEEZE PAST PARAGUAY IN TIGHT AFFAIR
Tuesday 29th June 2010
Paraguay versus Japan is hardly the most attractive second round game in
this years World Cup but I reckon Japan can cause a shock and progress to the
last eight of the competition. Paraguay are not your usual South American team
relying more on a solid defence than attacking flair.

They managed just one win in their group games beating Slovakia 2 - 0. Their other two games saw them draw 1 - 1
with Italy and 0 - 0 with New Zealand. These performances have hardly been impressive and in front of goal they
have struggled. At times star strike Roque Santa Cruz has looked uninterested.

If you look at results prior to the World Cup then Paraguay have won just 3 of their last 11 matches. Bookmakers
have them as the favourites to win this game (2.15 @ Paddy Power) but I feel Japan offer much better value to win
this game in 90 minutes. Japan are available at a best price 4.1 at Bet Chronicle.

Japan have done well so far in this World Cup with impressive wins over Cameroon and Denmark to progress to the
group stages. Honda in particular has been their stand out player and one of the tournaments most impressive
performers so far. Along with Endo and Okada they have players who can cause Paraguay problems.

Japan are able to play the same starting line up and formation for the 4th game running. Paraguay on the other hand
will have to make do without the suspended Victor Ceceres.

BK Tip: Japan to beat Paraguay - 4.1 @ Bet Chronicle

BRAZIL TOO HOT FOR CHILE
BRAZIL HAVE A SUPERB RECORD OVER CHILE
Monday 28th June 2010
When you look at the Brazil line up it is hard to get over excited. With players
like Robinho and Elano who made little impact in the Premier League alongside
veteran Gilberto you start to doubt their chances. With Dunga now in charge a
defensive midfielder in his day this is a different Brazil style to previous years.

The key for Brazil is they play as a team. Kaka is back from suspension and he is their main player linking up with
Robinho and their main goal scorer Fabiano. Elano is also set to return after picking up a nasty injury in their
impressive group win over Ivory Coast.

Chile qualified second behind Brazil in South America for this World Cup and made it to the knockout stages with
narrow wins over Switzerland and Honduras.

When you look at recent meetings between these two teams then it becomes clear there is a big gulf between the two
sides. Brazil have won their last 7 meetings with Chile scoring 26 goals and conceding just 3. In qualifying for this
World Cup they beat them 4 - 2 at home and 3 - 0 away.

Chile lost their discipline in their final group game against Spain and that could cost them dearly in this clash. They
have three players missing through suspension, Marcos Estrada, Waldo Ponce and Gary Medez. Even with a full
strength side Chile would struggle but with his trio missing Brazil should have no problems progressing.

BK Tip: Brazil to beat Chile - 1.57 @ Paddy Power

NO PROBLEMS FOR NETHERLANDS
NETHERLANDS ARE SIMPLY TOO GOOD FOR SLOVAKIA
Monday 28th June 2010
The first of today's two second round matches is between Netherlands and
Slovakia and I simply cannot see beyond a win for the Netherlands. Slovakia
have done remarkably well to qualify for this round beating the defending
champions Italy 3 - 2 in the group stages.

Don't however let that result fool you as Italy were poor throughout the tournament. In their previous group games
Slovakia could only manage a draw against New Zealand and were beaten 0 - 2 by Paraguay. Quite frankly they are a
poor team that will be beaten today.

Netherlands come into this match having won all three of their group games and 7 in a row including warm up games.
They were never really tested in the group games but had good wins over Denmark, Japan and Cameroon. They have
the players to tear Slovakia apart with Robben back to fitness, Sneijder and Van Persie, providing the attacking threat.

In the centre of midfield De Jong and Van Bommel will dominate the Slovakians and allow their more creative players
to do the damage. Rafael van der Vaart may miss out with an injury picked up a in training whilst Slovakia will be
missing Zdeno Strba who is suspended. Expect an easy win for Netherlands in this game.

BK Tip: Netherlands to beat Slovakia - 1.46 @ Bet Chronicle

WHO WILL WIN WIMBLEDON?
QUERREY LOOKS A GOOD OUTSIDE BET AT WIMBLEDON
Friday 25th June 2010
Wow! What a tournament Wimbledon is turning out to be this year. Even non
tennis fans have to be impressed by the events taking place on the grass courts
this year. The epic encounter between Mahut and Isner, Nadal and Federer both
going to five sets in early rounds and Murray on top form.

The question all punters want answered is who is going to win Wimbledon this year? Well I can't answer that but
I believe Sam Querrey has a very good chance and looks a very good bet at this stage of the tournament. Querrey
appears to be improving year on year and at the tender age of 22 the American has a bright future ahead.

He has already captured 5 ATP Titles and is the form player on grass this season having won his last 7 matches.
Querrey landed the title at Queens Club albeit avoiding any of the big names in the event. However he beat Mardy
Fish and Malisse who themselves had disposed of Murray and Djokovic.

Querrey has been practicing with Pete Sampras and any advice from the former 6 time Wimbledon champion will have
only have helped Querrey's attempt to win this prestigious title. In the last round Querrey hit 28 Aces in 4 sets
reaching speeds of 135 MPH. A big serve is such a powerful weapon on Grass as Sampras proved so many times.

With Federer and Nadal looking vulnerable Querrey could spring a huge surprise this year. 888Sport, Blue Square,
Boylesports, Skybet, Victor Chandler and William Hill all have Querrey at 33/1. However place your bet at Betfair and
you can get 80/1 +. Great value in my opinion.

BK Tip: Sam Querrey to win Wimbledon - 84 @ Betfair

COTE D'IVOIRE WORLD CUP HOPES
HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT CAN THE AFRICANS MAKE?
Thursday 17th June 2010
Cote d’Ivoire are considered by many to be Africa’s best chance to make a real
impact on the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa. With world class
talent through the starting eleven, it’s no wonder that hopes on them are so
high. Cote d’Ivoire also have a point to prove.

They were eliminated in the first round at Germany 2006 having been drawn in an extremely difficult group, losing 2 –
1 to Argentina and the Netherlands before fighting back from two goals down to exact a 3 – 2 win over Serbia and
Montenegro.

Now with more experience and maybe a little more luck in the draw, the team of Cote d’Ivoire are set to cause trouble
for their opponents this year.

Maintaining their reputation as one of Africa’s powerful contenders, Cote d’Ivoire powered through their qualifying
without losing a single match, taking a huge lead in their final qualifying group ahead of Burkina Faso, Malawi and
Guinea.

One moment of uncertainty, however, came when they were on the very brink of qualification – but Didier Drogba, as
usual, came to the forefront in the time of greatest need and scored a decisive goal in the seventieth minute of play at
Burkina Faso, giving the side just enough rope to hold off the Stallions 3 – 2 in Ouagadougou.

It was also his dramatic equalizer when he entered play from the bench against Malawi that gave the West African
side a 1 – 1 draw, and they point they needed to reach South Africa. The Chelsea player was top scorer for Cote
d’Ivoire, with six goals in five matches.

Partybets is giving an odd of 40 to 1 that the team around captain Drogba will finish 1st or 2nd in the tournament.
When it comes to their history at the World Cup, Cote d’Ivoire have some interesting claims to fame.

At Germany 2006, they were the only nation whose squad was made up entirely of players based at clubs outside of
their home country. They maintain their record as the only team to never have failed to score in a FIFA World Cup
match.

Their run at Germany 2006 was short-lived, as they conceded early goals in all three of their matches, with all six of
their goals against coming before the fortieth minute of play. Cote d’Ivoire are in Group G of the group phase, with
Brazil, North Korea and Portugal.

MEXICO TO WIN OPENER
HOSTS SOUTH AFRICA COULD BE IN FOR A TOUGH TIME
Tuesday 8th June 2010
The World Cup kicks off in just three days with hosts South Africa facing
Mexico in the first match. It is hard to predict just how the hosts South Africa
will fair in this World Cup and how much home advantage will count for. In my
opinion Mexico are good value to get off to a winning start.

South Africa actually come into this game on the back of 15 games unbeaten but the majority of these games have
been against weak nations. The fact they have been playing easy friendly games could back fire on South Africa in a
big way. They have yet to be tested and against a free flowing Mexico team they could be torn apart.

South Africa did beat Denmark in a friendly and had draws with Paraguay and Bulgaria. These are hardly results to
get excited about and is why they are a best price of 2/1 ( Extrabet ) to win the match. Mexico come into the game
much better prepared after friendlies with England, Netherlands, Chile and Italy.

They even beat the Italians 2 - 1 in their last friendly with an excellent display. Against England they were very
impressive going forward but suspect at the back. However South Africa are light up front and Mexico should be able
to contain their goal scoring threat.

With the likes of Vela (Arsenal), Hernandez (Manchester United) and Giovanni Dos Santos (Tottenham), Mexico
have real pace and flair in attack and South Africa may struggle to keep them at bay. Add the experience of Marquez
at the back at Franco up front and Mexico have a strong side. The 17/10 on offer at Bet Chronicle looks good value.

BK Tip: Mexico to beat South Africa - 17/10 @ Bet Chronicle
