After two straight sets wins in Belgium at the weekend there are certainly no signs of injury. Tanking a match in a WTA Premier event would be a stupid thing to do and she should certainly be motivated to do well this week.
After losing in the first round in Melbourne she will want to get her season back up and running again. She had a good run to the final in Hobart so I have no doubt that she has the sort of form to be able to win easily today.
Craybas is 37 years old and only in the draw as a lucky loser. Her results lately are very poor. For example she lost against Krunic (226) in Melbourne against whom Wickmayer won 6-0 6-1 last weekend.
Wickmayer needs wins this week as she reached the quarter finals here last year almost beating Petra Kvitova.
She will be disappointed with her current ranking and eager to get up towards the top 20 soon.
I think that Wickmayer should be about 1.05 here.
