Key Points

Janko Tipsarevic (#20) had a good week in Montreal and will now want to turn his focus to the US Open in two weeks from now.
He's at his highest ever ranking but he's still not a player to trust as a bettor.
His compatriot Troicki just went out in the first round as a strong favourite against Fognini and I wouldn't be surprised if Tipsarevic followed him.
Roger-Vasselin (#114) has come through qualifying convincingly and will be used to the conditions. He obviously targetted this tournament as the fast conditions suit his game.
He has a good serve and likes to get into the net whenever possible.
He's in good form having recently won a challenger in Canada.
He has some experience of this level of tennis and will probably not feel the pressure.
Tipsarevic has never even won a set in Cincinnati and there's a good chance that he won't today either. My feeling is that he may be fatigued after last week's efforts and that he now wants some time to prepare for the US Open.
The odds on Roger-Vasselin certainly offer good value.
