Liam Broady v Ricardas Berankis

Tennis - Rennes Challenger - 27 Jan 15:00

Backing a familiar name today in Berankis.

A lot of the same applies, his indoor record sits at 138 wins to 78 losses while Broady sits at 69 wins to 43 losses and a lot of those games have come in America on the challenger circuit of which you see the same names week in week out.

Berankis plays a lot of his tennis at the top level and there's a reason for that and bar a poor spell of ten minutes against Sakharov has served very well this week while Broady was seriously challenged in the first round by Dustin Brown before winning two significantly easier games.

Both Bolelli and Sakharov have fallen to Berankis which considering that Sakharov had the crowd behind him is two very good results for him.

It's a bright start to the year and should he continue to play this way I expect him to climb the rankings well in the early parts of the season.

Broady is no pushover but I am more than happy to take Berankis at a flat stake.
