Mitchell Krueger Set 1 7-6 v Reilly Opelka

Tennis - Indian Wells Challenger - 27 Feb 18:00

Two part tip, back both together to get roughly 5 on the tiebreak.

Opelka is the centre of the bet, Krueger is not serve reliant so does not play all too many tiebreaks. However, a few things suggest he is still a good candidate.

Krueger has qualified for this event so should be comfortable on the courts and used to the conditions. Priced at the betting underdog has made it to a tiebreak or better in 21 of his last 50 matches strongly implying that he is likely to keep this tight - usually meaning tiebreaks with Opelka involved.

Krueger played Opelka last year at the Australian Open and it was 6-3 7-6(2). Plus his matches priced over 3 this year have seen very solid showings. Last out he lost 7-6 7-6 to Fratangelo, a far better returner than Opelka, and he also lost to Fratangelo 7-6 6-3 earlier this year. He has also lost in 3 sets on the 2 other occasions he was priced over 3 this year so clearly seems to be playing well against better opposition recently.

My price would be around 2.5 to 3. If you can't get the odds look for anything 3 or better in play with Ladbrokes/Coral, Unibet or Bet365.
