Jo Wilfried Tsonga v Andrey Rublev

Tennis - ATP Montpellier - 09 Feb 18:00

Tsonga (#19) made hard work of beating Mahut yesterday but didn't lose his serve and it may help shake off any rust.

Tsonga is a brilliant indoor player and in the past 12 months has a 20-4 record on this surface.

In 2017 he landed indoor titles in Marseille, Rotterdam and Antwerp. He was also runner up to Pouille in Vienna.

Rublev (#35) is still in the early stages of his career so some of his stats may be a touch misleading. Still a 4-9 record indoors is pretty dire.

At the back end of last season he lost in the 1st Round in Moscow, Vienna and Paris without winning a set.

He's looked good this week but Tsonga is a step up in terms of quality and I think the Frenchman will have too much. I had him priced at 1.57, so 1.78 looks a decent value bet.
