Barry Hawkins 6-0 v Kurt Dunham

Snooker - UK Championship - 30 Nov 19:30

Dont fancy anything on Wednesday so attention turns to Thursday. Firstly, Barry Hawkins can whitewash Kurt Dunham.

Hawkins is on another planet to Dunham. World number 8 v world number 122. A two time Crucible runner up against an Australian with a dodgy haircut.

On a serious note Dunham is pretty dreadful at this level. His career record is 2-29. His only wins were against Keogan ranked 117 and Borg 94.

A break of 53 is all Kurt Dunham has mustered in 10 matches and 52 frames this season. That's pathetic. It means Barry is going to be in with a chance in every frame and he's a pretty effective safety player which could make life difficult for the Aussie.

Dunham has been WHITEWASHED in 8 of his 10 matches this season. Laugh out loud.

Dunham lost 6-1 here last season notably winning the very first frame against Liang Wenbo. He then preceded to win just 49 points in a combined 6 frames.

I think if Barry gets the first two frames on the board Kurt will drop his head and fear another whitewash defeat.

Barry won 6-0 in his 2013 R1 match and also won 6-0 in his R1 match last season where he beat Declan John.

I think 15/8 looks very generous. Bookies basically suggesting Dunham is 4/11 to win a frame which is laughable.
