Exeter Cue Card

Horse racing - Exeter - 05 Nov 14:50

Cue Card has been a top class chaser over the last 3 seasons. His excellent second to Sprinter Sacre in the Spring backed up his impressive 9 length victory at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

He is very effective between 2 miles and 2 miles 5 furlongs so todays trip of 2 miles 2 furlongs should suit.

Cue Card's jumping is pretty good and he has won at the track before.

Cue Card has a great record when fresh. He has won first time out every season he has been racing and in fact he won this exact race last year.

He has run well on both soft and good ground and the forecasted conditions at Exeter this afternoon are Good to Soft on the chase course.

At the age of 7, he may just still be improving.

Trainer Colin Tizzard has started the season well and his son Joe knows this horse very well and again takes the ride today.

Providing he can stay out of trouble, the stats suggest Cue Card should take all the beating this afternoon.
