Thongchai Jaidee vs Henrik Stenson/Michael Campbell

This golf betting tip comes from the Dubai Desert Classic and the 1st Round 3 ball between Thongchai Jaidee, Henrik Stenson and Michael Campbell.
Both Stenson and Campbell are big names in golf but of late they have been in terrible form.
Stenson has missed the cut in Qatar and Abu Dhabi shooting opening rounds of 82 and 80.
The former champion of this event has made a habit of starting slowly and shot 77 in the 1st Round here 12 months ago.
I have never know Michael Campbell to play well in the early stages of a season and that has been the case again in 2012.
Like Stenson he has missed the cut in his first two events opening with a 1st Round of 79 in Abu Dhabi.
Last week in Qatar Campbell shot 76 and 80 to miss the cut by a mile.
Last year in Dubai he suffered the same fate shooting 7 over par for 36 holes.
That just leaves Jaidee who last week finished 20th in Qatar with a fine round of 68 on Sunday.
Jaidee loves this tournament and has an excellent record in Dubai. In 10 visits he has only missed the cut once.
He finished 3rd in 2010, T5 in 2004 and T9 in 2003. Add to that two top 20 finishes in 2006 and 2007 and you can see why I keen to back him.
Don't let the odds of 1.85 put you off. They are short for a 3 ball but given how poorly Stenson and Campbell have been playing, Jaidee could be 1.6 and still be value.
