UBS Hong Kong Open Top 10 Finish Marcus Fraser

Golf - UBS Hong Kong Open - 07 Dec 23:00

This golf betting tip comes from the UBS Hong Kong Open and the Top 10 market.
Marcus Fraser is an Aussie golfer who has an outside chance of winning the Asian Tour Order of Merit if he triumphs in the HKO this week and his compatriot Scott Hend finishes outside the top 13.
Ironically, both players couldn’t be more different when it comes to their golf games. Hend is a bomber, renowned as one of the longest hitters on tour whilst Fraser is a plotter and one of the shortest hitters around.
I watched quite a bit of the Australian PGA Championship last week and it was embarrassing watching Fraser being well and truly mullered by his playing partners Hend and the eventual winner Harold Varner III on the first two days of the tournament.
It was no surprise to see him eventually miss the cut as he struggled in the testing conditions on a track that stretched over 7,300 yards. However, put Fraser on a tight, fiddly golf course where hitting fairways is key and he can compete.
Hong Kong GC at Fanling fits into this category. At just 6,710 yards in length with narrow tree lined fairways and tricky greens the course suits the more accurate players who can hole their quota of putts.
The 38 year old obviously has a liking for the layout as he has finished in the Top 10 on four occasions in eight appearances since 2007.
Although Fraser’s form of late has been uninspiring he tends to play his best golf in Asia. He won the Maybank Championship Malaysia in February this year and could prove to be good value at 7/1 with Coral for another Top 10 finish.
