AT & T Pebble Beach Pro Am Tom Hoge ew

Golf - AT & T Pebble Beach Pro Am - 08 Feb 16:00

Whilst looking at some of the key stats that I felt were important for success this week the name Tom Hoge popped up a few times.

He's well ranked in both Proximity to the Hole and Strokes Gained Approach (14th in both). Those stats are important because the greens are smaller than normal this week.

Hoge has been in really good form. He actually led the Sony Open with 1 round to go and was still in contention until a double bogey on the 16th hole on Sunday.

He also played well at Torrey Pines finishing T12 and T7 in the Shriners.

His record here the past few season is ok finishing T39 and T41.

He's played well at Puerto Rico which is another windy coastal track.

This is a unique event with the 3 different courses being used. Hoge is away from the star names and most likely the TV cameras so could easily go under the radar for the first 54 holes without too much pressure.

Given his recent form this season odds of 200/1 make it a very appealing each way bet. Coral offering these odds and 7 places at 1/5 the price.
