Tottenham v Liverpool Man of the Match Adam Lallana

Football - Tottenham v Liverpool - 17 Oct 12:45

With Danny Ings, Christian Benteke and Firmino out injured of Liverpool’s visit to White Hart Lane, Adam Lallana will surely start.

It will be Jurgen Klopp’s first game in charge and he’ll surely have a positive influence on the squad. This is important because Liverpool need a result in order for Lallana to be named as the man of the match.

Michael Owen will be selecting the man of the match and he very rarely selects defenders, therefore you can usually rule them out in this market when Owen’s commentating.

Now onto Adam Lallana, he always gives his all on the pitch, he’ll certainly put in the effort required.

The Englishman’s a skilful individual and can cause defences all sorts of problems. Admittedly, he hasn’t assisted too many goals whilst at Liverpool, largely due to a lack of minutes on the pitch, but he assisted five goals in consecutive seasons whilst playing for Southampton.

Lallana is more than capable of finding the back of the net, he scored five times for Liverpool last season and nine times for Southampton the year before. He’s also scored twice in the Europa League this campaign, and goals are very often crucial in this market.
