Bolton v Reading

Football - The Championship - 21 Nov 20:00

6 unbeaten now for Bolton. Pretty amazing given their start to the season. But have they turned the corner or have they just been playing teams out of form?

Well their last 4 opponents were Preston, Norwich, Sunderland and Fulham. Those teams rank 18th, 21st, 23rd and 24th in the current form guide so I think that answers my question.

I don't think Bolton will continue this run and there's a reason why they have already lost 5 times at home this season.

Readings performances have certainly picked up in recent weeks with the return of a few key players. They can count themselves very unlucky not to have scored against Wolves at the weekend and the 2-0 scoreline flattered the league leaders.

Reading have had some impressive wins on their travels in recent weeks winning at Leeds and Derby. I think they'll start to climb the table whilst Bolton, even despite their recent revival look destined for a long relegation battle.

Van den Berg is suspended for Reading but Kermorgant and Bodvarsson are both returning from recent injury layoffs as is midfielder Liam Kelly.
