Sevilla v Leganes Shown a Card: Dimitrios Siovas

Football - Spain: Copa Del Rey - 07 Feb 20:30

In 16 starts this season Siovas has been carded 6 times. 4 times in La Liga in 11 games and twice in 5 games in the Copa Del Rey. Of all those games he has started for Leganes he has only failed to play less than 75 minutes twice. He was rested against Getafe last game for this away leg against Sevilla so I strongly believe he'll play the full 90 here.

Siovas is one of the starting centre backs for Leganes and actually scored their only goal in the first leg, although he wasn't carded that game, it did see 6 yellows being dished out so I think we can see another feisty affair here where there's everything to play for being tied up at 1-1.

Despite being quite tidy on the ball for a tall bloke, he is monumentally slow. Ben Yedder and Nolito didn't feature in the first leg but should both be present tonight, their pace and techinical ability in the final third will cause Siovas problems.

The referee for this game is Javier Fernandez. In 16 games he's overseen this season he has dished out 75 yellows and 2 reds, an average of just under 5 cards a game.

Sevilla have been inconsistent recently at home, whilst Leganes are the typical mid-lower league scrappy defensive side that try to grind out games, i think it will be a close game full of tension. I'm willing to take a punt at this price for the big greek to get in trouble, he averages just over 1 foul a game but given the stakes tonight and being in the away side i think he'll have alot more to deal with. 10 point stake.
