Man City v Newcastle Anytime Goalscorer Joselu

Football - Premiership - 20 Jan 17:30

A longshot but one that can be justified with the odds on offer.

Only compared to Man City's incredibly high standards, they have had a little wobble recently. Defensively they have not looked great all season, offensively magnificent. Last week they let in 4 against an admittedly excellent offensive team in Liverpool.

They have injuries in defence and are missing Kompany, Mendy and Delph.

So there will be openings for Newcastle and I turn to Joselu. He scored in his last outing. He will start and, barring injury must play 90 minutes, Newcastle are missing Gayle and Mitrovic, they are lacking offensive options.

Newcastle must go out and attack, they cannot park the bus. Even Rafa must appreciate that.

Man City conceded to Watford last home game.

It is a punt but at odds of over 5/1 justified. Most bookies are offering around 4.5 which I believe is about right and would make this a no bet. 6.5 is juicy so get involved before it goes.
